Bruner Reunions

Brunners immigrated to North America before the Revolutionary War and continued coming to the United States well into the 1800’s.  Good health, hard work, strong faith and large families have seen the early Brunners spread across the nation, the present spelling of the original name now simplified for many families to Bruner.  The Brunners had their European roots in Germany and adjacent areas of Switzerland and France with the earliest families coming from Schifferstadt, Germany not too far from Heidelburg.

This site is devoted to publicizing and facilitating the reunions of the many branches of these intrepid immigrant families. Notify us and we will be happy to include details of your Bruner/Brunner reunion as well. Read about the upcoming Joseph Brunner National Reunion and learn how you can help preserve the beautiful and innovative Brunner “Schifferstadt” house in Frederick Maryland.

A sister Web site, http://www.brunerfamily.org, will detail the evolving Bruner/Brunner genealogies.  The sponsoring nonprofit “Bruner History Foundation” is dedicated to the preservation of Brunner/Bruner artifacts, documents, photographs, and accomplishments.
